The Creator to Try Out for Football Team

It has just been confirmed that Stacy Harris; comic book creator, writer and author has just signed to try out for the summer league semi pro team in Denver Colorado, called the Colorado Cobras.  The Colorado Cobras are in association with the Colorado Football Conference (CFC), which is complied of two divisions; the Foot Hills and the Rocky Mountains Divisions. The Cobras are in the Rocky Mountain Division and this is their inaugural season. When asked about his decision to play football Mr. Harris commented;

 

“It has always been my dream to accomplish all of the goals I set out for myself. I wanted to box and I have done that. I won numerous Florida State and Golden Gloves Titles. I have written novels and have become a published comic creator. It’s only fitting that I play and win a football championship as well!”

 

When asked about his chances of making the team Mr. Harris responded;

 

“Lets just say that they are as good as anybody else’s. (laughs) No seriously, I like my chances. I am a strong athlete. I box so that will help with my technique and foot work. I am dedicated plus I believe that God will allow me to accomplish all of my goals and aspirations. With that combination I don’t see no way why I shouldn’t make it.”

 

The tryouts for the Cobras are Saturday March 1^st from 9 am until noon at the beautiful Family Sports Dome indoor facility. It is the home of where the Arena Football team Colorado Crush practice. Try outs will be for participants only; it’s closed to the public. We will give you updates on Mr. Harris’s progress and let you know if he made the team afterwards and what’s to follow.
