The WERE Comic Will Be Well Represented at the Upcoming Mega-Con Convention

This years’ Mega Con Convention is, as in previous years, shaping up to be a most memorable event with all of the star power and celebrities not to mention all of the comic book personalities and professionals this event attracts, it’s sure to be a most agitative occasion. But lost in the array and excitement the Mega Con Convention generates in the central Florida are this years event has something that none of the others have had before and that is The WERE Comic.  Yes, The WERE Comic, as well as Legend Empire Studios, will be debuting at this year’s event and they are really going out of their way to make an impression. They have hired a top model to represent them, as well as prizes to give away, which will culminate with a drawing where one lucky fan will actually win a brand new Sony Playstation 3! Not to get lost in all the build up and hype is the actual comic itself, which is a full color 4 part graphic mini series about a lone drifter who has his life drastically changed when he is bitten by a governmental experiment gone bad in the form of a viscous half man half beast known as the Hyena! Once bitten; he teams up with the daughter of the late scientist who created the experiment, which took part into turning Dugan into a beast himself. She tells Dugan that the only way he can become normal is to hunt down the Hyena, take him down and use his blood to make a serum that will cure him, but there’s a problem they have but a short time to find and take down the Hyena before Dugan is cursed to live his life as a blood thirsty beast himself. The hunt is on and together they must find a way to take down the Hyena and his wicked rampage of blood lust and destruction and cure Dugan before his time runs out and he is forced to live his life as a wicked WERE beast as well!

 

Issue’s 1 and 2 will be sold simultaneously at the convention at Legend Empire’s booth, which is booth 224. While you’re there pick up a raffle ticket for your chance to win the Playstation 3 bundle, meet and greet the artists and creator of The WERE, take pictures (which will be displayed on the website) and have a Great time!
